CHIROPRACTORS
Alex Onsomu, D.C.
The owner of Summit Chiropractic, Dr. Alex Onsomu works at our Champlin and Maplewood offices. A native of Kenya and a graduate of Northwestern Sciences University, Dr. Onsomu speaks English and Swahili.
He relishes his role as a provider of pain relief therapies for injuries resulting from auto and work-related accidents. Dr. Onsomu treats the source of the pain, limiting the patients' movement, not just the symptoms.
NICK MCCARTY, D.C.
Dr. Nick practices chiropractic care at both the Champlin and Maplewood offices, alongside Dr. Alex. Originally from Iowa, he served in the National Guard for 8 years before relocating to the Twin Cities in 2020 to pursue his chiropractic career. Dr. Nick holds a Bachelors in Human Sciences and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Nick is also board-certified and licensed to perform Chiropractic Acupuncture.
He is passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients and enjoys working with diverse cases, from personal injury cases to routine health and wellness treatments.

In addition to chiropractic services, we also have massage therapy performed by multiple massage therapists on staff. They're happy to help you find relief from sore muscles and daily stress.
Insurance Information
We accept most insurance plans and can help you determine if our services will be covered by your insurance company. As a courtesy to our patients, we submit insurance forms to your insurance carrier.
Other payment arrangements can be made if you have limited or no insurance. Summit Chiropractic accepts cash, check, and credit.

Your Initial Visit to Our Clinic
When you arrive at our office, there will be some paperwork for you to fill out with general information about you and your condition. Next, you'll meet with Dr. Alex or Dr. Nick to discuss any complaints, health issues, concerns, and treatment options. Together, we’ll go over your health history and then the doctor will perform some tests. X-rays may be required.
When the exam and studies are completed, it’s time for your initial treatment. Potential therapies include chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, massage, soft tissue therapies, and/or physical therapy. All treatments are tailored to each patient, and treatment plans are custom to each patient's wants and needs.
Before going home, you’ll get instructions about treatments, activities, or exercises to do at home – including heat application, activity restrictions, and exercises and/or stretches. You’ll also get an appointment time for your follow-up visit – typically within a day or two.
